Specializing in Mass Notification Risk Analysis

With over 40 years of experience in emergency communication systems design, Pallett Corner Consulting specializes in NFPA 72 code compliant risk analysis for Mass Notification Systems (MNS).  Every facility has different needs, and emergency preparedness should reflect that.

Our Mass Notification Risk Assessments will answer the following questions:

  • What building codes, fire codes, and life safety codes apply to MNS?
  • Does your campus need a Mass Notification System?
  • What are the MNS requirements for the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code (NFPA 72)?
  • What types of Mass Notification Systems can be utilized, and be code compliant?
  • Can the Public Address System be utilized for Mass Notification, and be approved by the local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)?
  • What should be considered with respect to overall school Emergency Response Plans and the Mass Notification System?
  • How does NFPA 3000 (Standard for an Active Shooter/Hostile Event Response (ASHER) Program) fit in?
  • Does cybersecurity factor into your MNS deployment and maintenance?
  • What stakeholders should be included  and consulted in the planning for any Emergency Communication Systems?
